Waiting . . .

Quincee (that is what we decided to call her since I was set against Sofia's favorite name of Tennessee) is still in the NICU. They gave her a transfusion of platelets which raised her count from 40 to 150 or so but six hours later they were already back down to 90ish. 12 hours after that they had only dropped to 80 or so. We are praying that this means that they are stabilizing. I haven't seen the results from this morning's test yet but if she stabilizes they will still want to keep her for observation for a few days so they can run blood counts every 12 hours. Other than the platelet problem she is healthy and happy. She is eating well, looks really good and is quite cute for a newborn I have to say.
